Our Instructors

Rachelle Moss

Rachelle Moss is an in-demand contralto and owner of Lakeside Music Studio. Self-managed and self-employed, she has built a dual career that allows her to flourish as an artist.  With over 15 years of business experience and industry knowledge, Rachelle believes that teaching other artists how to strategically develop their businesses helps create a more equitable industry where artists find stability.

She has performed with Seattle Opera, Sarasota Opera, Tacoma Opera, Vashon Opera, and many more. She has received numerous awards, including a career grant from the Seattle Opera Guild, an Encouragement Award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council, and the Stuart R. Silver Scholarship from Sarasota Opera. She holds a Bachelor's in Music History and a Master's in Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas. 

Holly McPherson

Holly McPherson is an account manager at Firmani + Associates, one of Seattle’s top integrated PR and marketing firms. In addition to driving PR, marketing and graphic storytelling for Tacoma Opera and The Drunken Tenor, LLC, Holly is a strategic communicator, content marketing strategist and all-around creative force. With a master’s degree from Gonzaga University’s Communications Organizational Leadership program, major market radio experience and years of expertise shaping internal and external narratives for a Fortune 50 global brand, Holly is a seasoned communicator who crafts content that resonates with the right audiences.

Originally from Salt Lake City, UT, Holly holds a B.S. in Broadcasting from the University of Utah and Master of Communication Leadership from Gonzaga University.
